In September 2022 MTM Engineering announced the acquisition of ATTS Ventures Ltd, a specialist provider of structured cabling and fibre optic cabling services, to join our CET Connect company. Founded by Director Philip Doheny in 2011, and based in Kilkenny, ATSS will now become part of CET Connect, ensuring a stronger structured cabling offering that supports Ireland, Europe, and further afield. Welcoming the announcement, CEO Brendan Mee said, “ATSS is a vibrant, effective business with global contracts. Adding this to the well-established CET Connect structured and fibre cabling model represents further realisation of our strategy to grow our business.”
ATSS employs a staff of over 20 people and completes specialist structured cabling and fibre optic projects across the globe. Commenting on behalf of ATSS, Philip Doheny said, “By joining CET Connect and the MTM team, we can build a greater service for our customers and develop our teams further into the future. We are very proud of what we have built and are delighted to join the team on their growth journey”. ATSS brings not only additional experienced resources but also familiarity and an understanding of operating in global markets.
This acquisition brings our team to over 680 directly employed and dedicated staff. The ongoing investment and support from our partner Waterland Private Equity has enabled us to complete this acquisition, expanding our offering for our customers and increasing our ability to add more value to our customer's projects.
