MH Engineering agrees to join MTM Group, adding mechanical services capability

MTM Group, the parent group of MTM Engineering, is pleased to announce the agreed acquisition of MH Engineering, an established mechanical services business based in Clonmel, Co. Tipperary.

Founded in 2016, MH Engineering is a mechanical engineering business supporting clients in Ireland and across Europe. The company provides a range of specialist services including offsite manufacturing of mechanical skids, pipework fabrication and installation, orbital welding, stainless steel sheet metal fabrication, platform and steelwork fabrication, mechanical and design solutions, and maintenance support.

MTM Group has historically focused on power and communications infrastructure through MTM Engineering, TA Ronan and CET Connect. The acquisition of MH Engineering will introduce mechanical services as a new specialist capability within the Group, broadening the Group’s offering across power, communications and mechanical services. The Group supports clients primarily in the data centre sector, with additional experience across pharmaceuticals, renewables, power generation and critical infrastructure.

Subject to approval, the existing MH Engineering management team will remain in place, with Michael Heffernan continuing as Managing Director. All MH Engineering team members are also staying with the business.

For customers, suppliers and project partners, business continues as usual. Existing contacts remain the same, and current projects, services and support arrangements will continue as normal.
