Due to continual growth, we are seeking to recruit an ambitious self-motivated Senior or Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to join our team and lead one of our large projects in Milan, Italy.

The successful candidate will be part of the current Commercial team operating in Ireland, UK and mainland Europe. The candidate will become an important member of a family run business using innovative strategies while creating a unique and exciting work environment.

Who We Are...

MTM Engineering specialises in electrical critical path delivery inclusive of containment, cabling & terminating coupled with busbar, switchgear supply and install services within Ireland as well as across Europe.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities...

• Commercial responsibility of a major project liaising with internal and external stakeholders.

• Measure from plans to produce detailed BOQ, labour hours and material costs.

• Liaise with our site teams to track work efficiencies, S/E and reporting.

• Provide project costing, margin and cashflow reports.

• Manage project scope variations.

• Develop and maintain relationships with the client to support operations and maintain positive relations on behalf of the Company.

• Assist with the review of all tender documentation including drawings and specifications

• Conduct site visits when required to determine tender requirements.

• Assist with identifying areas for improvement, expansion, company strategy and procedures.

 

 

Required Skills / Qualifications...

• Related qualification in Quantity Surveying

• 3-5+ Years’ experience depending on position

• Electrical services background preferable

• Good commercial awareness

• A proven track record in customer relationship development
