QA/QC Electrical Inspector 

West Offaly

MTM Engineering Ltd now has an opportunity for a QA/QC Electrical Inspector to join our growing team in West Offaly.

Duties:​

• Develop First of Kinds with site supervisor and client prior to works commencing. 

• Snag systems to approved first of kinds and technical submittals and record findings on the MTM in house snag software and issue findings to site team and senior management.

• Develop and deliver MTM weekly tool box talks on quality items.

• Monitor works in progress and note any deviations from approved first of kind.

• Development of QA checklists and Quality packs once systems are snag free and issue Quality packs to client for handover using in house approved checklists.

• Complete walkdowns and final handover of finished works with client.

• Overall review of the installation; overall workmanship in line with associated spec and codes; full traceability of plant and materials spec; control of all documents; confirm all relevant check sheets etc. are signed and maintained; coalition of all documentation for handover.

Required Skills / Qualifications:

• Excellent attention to detail and organisational / planning skills.

• Ability to self-manage, prioritise and work to tight deadlines.

• Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and clients.

• Be proactive around all QA items.

• Flexible and willing to work in a constantly changing environment of a growing company.

• Ability to support, manage, lead and enthuse others.

• Willing to undertake further training should the company believe necessary for the role.

Desirable:

• Good Knowledge of LV Cable installations.

• Data Centre experience / knowledge.

• A QA/QC Qualification would be an advantage but not essential.

• IT Skills - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and report preparation.

• Ability to clearly communicate both orally and in writing to clients and other stakeholders.
