Accounts Technician or Part Qualified

MTM Engineering Ltd specialises in Electrical cable installation and terminating services within Ireland as well as across Europe. We have an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Technician or Part Qualified to join our expanding team based in Grangegeeth, Co Meath. The ideal candidate will have a background working in a similar role.

Duties: 

Carry out all Accounting related duties, including but not limited to: 

• Preparation of the monthly management accounts

• Completion of monthly journal process on accounts system

• Administration of the foreign payroll function

• Project Margin Analysis

• Management of debtors and creditors

• Completion of VAT, Payroll and RCT returns

• Completion of statistical (CSO) reporting

• Bank, Credit card and expenses payments and reconciliation

• Implementation of process and controls

• Administration duties

• Provide support to Payroll department

Also: 

• Take appropriate action to maintain or improve relationships with all customers & suppliers

• Use your best endeavours to promote the best interests of the Company and abide by the rules, policies and procedures of the Company

• Any other duties within reason and capability as determined by Management

• Perform each task with excellent attention to detail to ensure accuracy

• Plan, prioritise, multi-task and meet multiple deadlines

• Qualified or working towards Accounts Technician qualification

• Provide excellent customer service & communication skills
