MTM Engineering Ltd specialises in Electrical cable installation and terminating services within Ireland as welll as across Europe. We have an exciting opportunity for a Payroll & Accounts Administrator to join our team based in Grangegeeth, Co Meath. This position is to cover Maternity and offers the opportunity of becoming more long term. 



Carry out all payroll/finance administration and related duties, including: 

  • Assist with the preparation of weekly/bi-weekly & monthly payroll

  • Collation of weekly timesheet data on Time Management System and check for accuracy

  • Management of annual leave entitlements and employee benefits

  • Strict adherence to dealines in payroll process & Revenue submissions

  • Process all new starters and leavers 

  • First point of contact for staff payroll queries  

  • Provide administrative support to the Finance Manager 

  • Produce monthly reports and returns and reconcile same 

  • Accounts support, HR support, reception and general office duties 



  • Payroll qualification or previous experience working with Payroll 

  • Experience using computerised payroll software

  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications especially Excel

  • Analytically minded with excellent attention to detail ensuring accuracy

  • Ability to plan, prioritise, multi-task and meet multiple deadlines

  • Knowledge of basic principles in Employment Legislation

  • Excellent customer service & communication skills
