MTM have an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join our growing team in Europe. The successful candidate will be part of the current team responsible for overseeing the project completion of cable installation package in large scale Industrial and commercial units. The role is based in Europe.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

• Delegate responsibilities and individual projects to relevant crew members

• Work daily under pressure to very tight deadlines which will include cable pulling and setting up cable pull routes

• Monitor and report project status regularly, keeping it on schedule and within budget

• Monitor and manage time and attendance of all crews, conduct return to work interviews

• Resolve conflicts or miscommunications that may happen on-site quickly and amicably

• Performance management, dealing with non-compliance, conflict – able to negotiate positive outcomes

• Promote safe working conditions at all times. Ensure compliance with all workplace practices and operating procedures specific to the task. Enforce safe use of tools, machinery, and equipment including training on safety gear.

• Oversee quality standards on site. 

• Use the Field Motion App as per company guidelines

• Motivate staff, engage with individuals and teams

• Enforce Company policies, understand internal company policies and how they should be applied

• Employee engagement, interaction, training, upskilling, coaching & mentoring

• Any other duties as determined by management

 

Essential Criteria:

• 3+ year’s experience working in a similar role

• Self-motivated to ensure that project deadlines are achieved

• Ability to work in a fast paced and at times pressurised environment

• Strong communication skills 

• Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail

• Ability to read and understand electrical drawings

• Ability to support, manage, lead and enthuse others

 

Desirable Criteria:

• Qualified Electrician

• Previous electrical experience in Data Centre and construction

• Previous experience in cable install, glanding and terminating on industrial cabling

• Data Centre experience
