MTM have an exciting new opportunity for a site based Electrical QAQC to join our growing team reporting to the QA Manager. The successful candidate will be part of the current QA/QC team responsible for inspection and handover of cable installations.  The role will be based on an Irish project on night shift basis. (Monday to Thursday).  


Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Complete inspection of MTM works on cable install, termination and glanding

  • Maintain inspection records of MTM works using bespoke MTM APP and BIM platform

  • Liaise with Client / Electrical contractor on submission of QA Inspection records

  • Close out queries on equipment with MTM team and Client which may impact on MTM progress

  • Work with the QA and Construction team to implement corrective and preventative actions

  • Work with the MTM construction team to communicate best practices and mock-ups to ensure consistent quality is achieved

  • Assist in completion of monthly QA audits and toolbox talks as required

  • Manage email and telephone communications as required

  • Ensure that QA activities are tracked to completion to achieve project deadlines

  • Deliver weekly Quality TBT’s to teams and ensure quality culture is maintained throughout teams.

Essential Criteria:

  • Qualified Electrician

  • 3+ years experience working in a similar role

  • Self-motivated to ensure that project deadlines are achieved

  • Ability to work in a fast paced and at times pressurised environment

  • Strong communication skills 

  • Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail

  • Ability to read and understand electrical drawings

  • Ability to support, manage, lead and enthuse others


Desirable Criteria:

  • QC Number

  • Completed electrical testing and verification course

  • Previous electrical experience in Data Centre and construction

  • Previous experience in cable install, glanding and terminating on industrial cabling
