The Role...

As a Graduate EHS Advisor you will work closely with the EHS Manager at all times to further assist in the management of the MTM Environmental Safety and Management Systems in line with ISO 45001, Safe-T-Cert and VCA safety accreditation requirements.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities...

• ​Attend site visits and gain knowledge of the scope of works to be delivered to clients

• Assist in the development of site specific RAMS for upcoming scope of works

• Assist and gain knowledge on MTM EHS management systems and ensure they are implemented and maintained for specific projects in line with ISO 14001, 45001, Safe-T-Cert and VCA* Safety Management Systems

• Assist in the measurement of compliance with the project specific requirements and internal measurement systems

• Assist in the delivery of EHS training and implementation of such training across specific projects

• Provide leadership and coordination of the day-to-day EHS requirements of the projects and promote a positive safety culture

• Attend and provide input at site meetings, report on work scope EHS risks, trends and recommend constructive actions towards continuous improvements

• Carry out digital audits, inspections & incident investigation reports, establish corrective and preventive actions to prevent reoccurrence and continuous improvements with site team engagement

• Develop and complete site-specific Toolbox Talks on site aligned with site audits and EHS findings to help promote a positive safety culture and high level of compliance

• Manage and update weekly documentation within the project cloud safety folder, (GA2, GA3, SPA’s, RAMS Sign off’s, Safety Statement Sign Off’s, Inductions, PPE Records, Site Audits, TBT’s etc.)

• Collaborate with the wider MTM EHS Team on a monthly basis, chaired by the MTM EHS Manager, for continuous improvement and knowledge sharing across existing projects to help further improve a positive safety culture on MTM projects

 

Essential Qualifications and Key Criteria...

• ​Recent graduate of Level 7 or Level 8 qualification in Environmental Health and Safety or awaiting final semester results.

• Knowledge of current environmental, health and safety legislation

• Flexibility in working patterns where necessary

• Strong communication & computer skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Package

• Ambitious and hard working with a can do attitude
